Twenty-four rooms around a courtyard in the old town, with a lobby that doubles as the town’s living room.
The brief
A boutique hotel that belongs to the old town, not a resort that happens to be there.
Our approach
We kept the street facades at the old town’s height and grouped the rooms around a shaded courtyard with a well at its centre.
The result
Opening in spring 2026: 24 rooms, a courtyard restaurant and a rooftop that looks over the windmills.
“They understood that the town comes first.”Owner, Alaçatı Hotel
