Will my site go offline during the switch?
No. Your old site stays live until you approve the new one. Then we point your domain to it, which usually takes minutes to a few hours to reach everyone.
Do you copy my old text?
On Business, we write your copy from your brief and your old site. On Starter, you paste your text into the brief, or we add it for you with content entry ($49 a page, Business).
Will I lose my Google ranking?
We set up redirects from your old main page addresses to the new ones, so links and search signals carry over as well as they can.
What about my email?
Your email stays where it is. Changing where your website is hosted doesn’t affect it, as long as the email records stay in place. We check them with you.
When should I cancel my old website plan?
After your new site is live and you’ve checked it. We’ll remind you.
